Description: Registered Cultivar: This C. robusta selection was named by Gerhard Faber. The tall, vigorous plant resulted from habitat seed of unknown origin and produces dark purple peduncles carrying a full head of 30 plus tubular flowers of a very dark bronze with intense dark green, almost black tips. The tepal tip structure is quite unique for the species. Flowers age to a dark purplish colour. It is named after the colour tones found in the Namib desert, especially when the sun sets over the dunes. The rounded, pointy tips is reminiscent of a sandstone rock buried in the desert sand, a Desert Rose.

Description: this is one of Jim Comstock's darkest reds. The flower opens dark orange with a yellow throat that flushes dark red. Considered to be darker than the red Clivia sold in America as FLAME. Florets are narrow, trumpet shaped, with good overlap of tepals. It was bred from a variegated plant and it shows faint variegation in the leaves.

Description: Registered Cultivar: This is a plant grown from imported Yoshikazu Nakamura seed and named by Chris Ong. The plant is a compact grower and has leaves approx. 30 - 32cm long and approx. 5cm wide. When it is crossed with Group 1 yellow it produces all pigmented base seedlings. It is expected that tjis plant is a Group 2 yellow. The green in the flower is widespread and remains even when aged flowers drop. Several flowers show some petaloid trait.

Description: Registered Cultivar: This plant is bred by Jeanne Marten using mixed yellow pollen onto Clivia miniata 'Aurea', and is named for Di Matthews, who is a Clivia enthusiast from Melbourne. The plant is 530mm high x 1000mm wide. Leaf length is 800mm and the width is 65mm.The umbel of broad petal yellow flowers, in a compact, complete sphere, is held above the foliage. Flower count is around 27 per head, each flower is 85mm diameter. Flower colour is Cream (YG1) with the throat a Deep Yellow (YG4) as recorded on the Cape Colour Chart of 2003.

Description: Registered Cultivar. Named in honour of the late grandmother of the registrant, Craig Gibbons. A plant purchased at a nursery in Piet Retief, possibly a Belgium Hybrid. It is a low growing broad leaf form with flowers that are semi-tulip shaped, Bronze OR5 with a white-green throat that persists until flower drop. (CapeColour Chart 2003). The flowers are 5cm dia and 6 cm long. There is a white mucro on the sepals. Leaves display raised venation and a slight tesselate pattern.

The plant is from [(orange x yellow) x yellow] breeding and was purchased from Pine Mountain Nursery. The 7cm diameter flower starts yellow and blushes to a pastel orange as the flower ages, whilst retaining the yellow in the throat. The flourescent colouring contrasts with the deep green foliage.
